Norayne and her family moved to Brecksville in 1949. She grew up next door to her grandparents, Yaro and Estelle, who built their home here in 1932. Her parents, Norman and Jayne, (yes, that is where the name Norayne came from) built their Fitzwater Road home from what had originally been the Nosek family stable. Norayne, at age 14, began working in the family business at the funeral home on East 55th and Broadway. After graduation from Brecksville High School in 1964, she earned her degree from the University of Kentucky in 1968. She returned to Brecksville, completed her funeral director's apprenticeship and became licensed in 1969. She and Dennis were married in 1971 and have two sons, Doug, a mechanical engineer, and Scott, a fifth generation funeral director and embalmer in the family business. Norayne has enjoyed many activities over the years including such things as Scouting, SWARM (a group dedicated to recognizing high school students' achievements), Centaur (a volunteer program to assist handicapped adults and children through horseback riding), the Red Hat Society, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Alumni Association and CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). If you don't see her out and about at the funeral home, she is probably busy working behind the scenes or in the business office. Her love of all things equestrian (from her grandfather and her mother) continues to this day. She enjoys all of the critters in the backyard of their home (with the exception of the coyotes), swimming, and boating with family and friends.

Dean came to the Nosek Funeral Home in the autumn of 2002 with experience in funeral care and as a clergyman. He had 13 years of pastoral experience, mostly as an American Baptist pastor in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood of Cleveland. Dean then began to fulfill another calling as a funeral director. He completed the required two year apprenticeship, receiving his funeral directors license in the spring of 2000. In addition to assisting families as one of the Nosek Funeral Directors, he also serves families as a Certified Preplanning Consultant. Dean's presence gives the Nosek Funeral Home the flexibility of providing prearrangement guidance either at the funeral home or at the family residence. Although Brecksville is a new city for Dean to work in, he is familiar with the area since he was born, raised and has worked in the Cleveland area all his life. He is a '76 graduate of Olmsted Falls High and earned his bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Dean and his wife Day were married in 1988 and reside in Old Brooklyn. In addition to his work at the funeral home, Dean is a member of The Orchard, a non-denominational church and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Brooklyn since 1995, serving as club president in 2000. Dean's hobbies are gardening and working around the house and yard. He also enjoys computing and visiting points of interest around the “Buckeye” State with Day.
