Bessie Cassaro

BESSIE JOAN CASSARO (nee Marino), age 86. Beloved wife of the late Charles T. Cassaro for 50 years. Devoted mother of Theresa Lesh (Ben). Loving sister of Michael Marino (deceased). Bessie was a trailblazer. After graduating from college, she taught at Maple Heights High School and attended law school in the evenings. One of few women in the field of law at the time, she made an impression with her intelligence and spunk, fighting for what she believed was right. She was a firecracker in red lipstick, and she will be dearly missed by all.

Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Bessie's Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
